A fine pair of crewel work embroideries showing peacocks and other birds entwined with flowers. The pair have been identically framed in gilt frames with cream card mounts with circular inner windows. On moire silk.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. One embroidery has some small yellow stain at the lower edge of the circle. The frames are in fine condition.
