Description

A charming pair of 19th Century horse studies, one in delicate pen and ink depicting an old and tired looking horse, the other showing a fun scene in watercolour of a dejected looking horse being ridden by a dejected looking dog as they are chased away from a village by people carrying sticks. Both are unsigned and likely by different hands. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light surface dirtying. The watercolour has a crease running vertically across the paper.
