A lovely set of two studies in graphite and chalk depicting a classical sculpture. Signed and dated indistinctly to the front, dated 1791 to the reverse. Signed illegibly. On laid.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Each has a 1cm tear to the lower edge.
