A striking surrealist work in oil by the artist P. Leake, depicting the Greek god Pan, God of Nature. In a checkerboard style reminiscent of Salvador Dali, the artist has created an emotive classical head study with a unique avant-garde style. Well-presented in a simple red wooden frame, as shown. Signed and dated. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

In fine condition overall. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Very light wear to frame.
