Danish artist Oscar Bojesen (1879-1930) employs a limited palette of greens, blues, and purples to capture this winter woodland scene. His brushwork is impressionistic, with areas where additional water allows the paint to merge into patches of soft gradations of colour. Monogrammed to the lower left. Well presented in a gilt frame.
