A fine original 1930 watercolour entitled 'Morning, S.W. Bay, Malakula'. Malakula Island, also spelt Malekula, is the second largest island in the nation of Vanuatu, in the Pacific Ocean region of Melanesia. Well-presented in a gilt effect wooden frame, as shown. Unsigned dated and inscribed. On watercolour paper.
Condition
In good condition for a picture of this age. There is some surface discolouration, and light foxing in the upper right quadrant. The frame has some minor surface marks.
