A delicate study of an overcast sky and a flock of seagulls dancing in the low tide. This gentle painting is finished with fine gouache detailing. The artwork is inscribed under the frame on the rear of the mount with some framer's notes and is signed 'Nottingham'.
The artwork is well presented in a gilded wood frame with a gilded mount. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. There are some scuffs and scratches to the frame and some mount burn and colour loss to the mount.
