He was born in 1922 and studied at Twickenham College of Art.
He exhibited at a wide range of venues and has been elected a Member of several national societies, including the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
He later lived in Bognor Regis and sadly died in 2010. Along with being an artist he also wrote numerous books on painting.
