There are some slight marks beneath the glazing and some cockling to the substrate.

Artist Biography
Norman Hoad (1923-2014) was a painter and Air Vice-Marshall who was born in Brighton. He was a founding member of the Society of Equestrian Artists in 1979, which exists with the sole aim of encouraging the art of equestrian painting and sculpture and thereby advancing public appreciation and understanding of this art form. Annual exhibitions are usually held in August at the Mall Galleries, London.
