A finely composed contemporary oil by the Cornwall-based artist Nigel Hallard, depicting St Michael's Mount, Cornwall, in the early hours of the morning. With a fine attention to both movement and light, this work evokes the fresh air of the Cornish coastline. Well-presented in a white painted wooden frame, as shown, with inner gilt beading. Signed and incsribed on the reverse. On canvas on stretchers.
