Nicolas Dorigny after Raphael - Original 18th Century Engraving. Engraved after Raphael's original 1515 series of painted designs for tapestries, 'The Raphael Cartoons', commissioned by Pope Leo X for the Sistine Chapel. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and age toning. A small loss to the lower left and right corner and other small creases to corners and surface abrasions. Trimmed within plate margins, laid to wove paper.
