Nicolas Dorigny after Raphael - Original 18th Century Engraving. Fixed at the corners to backing paper. Engraved after Raphael's original 1515 series of painted designs for tapestries, 'The Raphael Cartoons', commissioned by Pope Leo X for the Sistine Chapel. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and age toning. Small creases and surface abrasions to the lower edge. Trimmed within the plate margins.
