Artist Biography

Largely self-taught painter born in London. From early childhood he has been fascinated by wildlife and field sport and his painting has developed along these lines. On leaving school he worked for a short time in a commercial art studio, but soon found that commercial art was entirely divorced from the fine arts. So he set about teaching himself to paint. Since then his achievements in sporting paintings have been shown at the Omell Galleries, London and in the USA.
