This beautiful late 19th century watercolour depicts several fishing boats, beached on an English shore at low tide. To the lower left of the composition fishermen can be seen gutting their catch on the sand, while the rest of the crew take out the last boat to gather the remaining nets. The watercolour has been signed and dated to the lower right-hand corner. Beautifully presented in a new card mount and elegant gilt frame with running pattern mouldings. Glazed. On paper.

Some minor discolouration to the watercolour and a single chip to the frame. Otherwise in fine condition.
