A fine 19th century watercolours street scene, depicting The Gros-Horloge. A 14th century astronomical clock in Rouen, Normandy. The clock can be seen installed into a renaissance style arch crossing the Rue du Gros-Horloge, where figures are walking. The painting is signed to the lower left-hand corner. Well presented in a brown and white double card mount, and sleek wood and gilt frame. Glazed. On paper.
