Description

An interesting late 19th or early 20th century watercolour of a sailing ship crashed against the rocks of a beach is Shanklin, Isle of Wight. With touches of white gouache. Inscribed on the reverse in graphite 'Sucombe Chine inn Shanklin, Isle of Wight by Miss Guaingham, 41 Westbourne Drive WSM'. Painted on wove laid to thick card.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing. Overall in good condition.
