A finely painted profile silhouette depicting a young Georgian gentlemen, smartly dressed in a white linen shirt, cravat and buttoned down jacket. The sitter's head has been delicately enhanced with soft gilt details. Beautifully presented in a later ebonised frame with brass window and decorative acorn hanger. Fixed to the reverse of the image is an inscribed label reading 'by Mr. Smith with M. H. Frost of the Royal Academy, 1829'. Glazed. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and deterioration to the silhouette, as well as light scratches to the frame.
