A charming oil painting on metal panel after the 17th Century artwork 'Boys Eating Grapes and Melon' by Spanish artist Bartolomé Esteban Murrilo. A prolific painter in 17th Century Seville, Murrilo took inspiration from artists such as Velázquez, similarly focusing scenes of everyday life. Unsigned.

Condition

There are some light surface scratches and loss to the paint at the lower right and upper left corners, as shown in the images above.
