The artist has used well placed splashes of colour in the backdrop to bring out the delicate skin tones and brush work of the female form. The painting is unsigned. There is a canvas stamp at the reverse, dating this painting between 1951-1966. On canvas.
Condition
Minor slack to the canvas at the right edge. Some wear to the paint at the outer edges of the canvas. There is a canvas repair to the reverse which has been fully restored at the front (upper left quadrant).
