A wonderful and meticulously detailed Mughal court scene, with many figures and decorative patterns, in gouache on silk. The artist is clearly extremely proficient in this highly traditional painting style, producing elaborate patterns and a handsome subtle border. With an off-white card mount, as shown. Unsigned.
