An early to mid 20th century hand painted, original poster for a Maya Sculpture Exhibition at Chester Galleries located on Old Bond Street, Mayfair, London. The artist has used a mix of watercolours and gouache to create a striking composition, with cut out lettering laid onto the image. Although Chester Galleries is no longer in operation, we know that it was a prominent Gallery due to its location in the heart of Mayfair and a stone's throw from the Royal Academy of Arts. Unsigned.
