Description
A very fine study of a large oak tree with stags resting underneath in the deer park at Knole House, Kent, England. The house can be seen in the distance, with it's characteristic gatehouse tower and dutch gables. The artist has expertly captured the scene, with great attention given to the leaves and branches. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Minor restoration work has been completed on a tear to the top edge of the painting.
