Description

An unusually early mahogany tea caddy, dating from about 1750. The very fine bat wing escutcheon is original, as is the top handle. The lock seems to be a replacement. The interior is vacant. 24cm x 14.3cm x 13.2cm.

Condition

Overall in good condition. Some minor marks to the top of the caddy.
