Artist Biography
Maureen Connett paints the interesting and beautiful in the visible world. Drawing and colour are her main preoccupations and she is particularly interested in landscape and architectural subjects. Her subjects are mainly where she spends time: London and Hastings, Tuscany and Dubrovnik.
Connett uses a variety of media including oil, acrylic and watercolour - and often paints en plein air. Having held solo and group exhibitions in London, Oxford and Hastings, her work is in private collections in the UK, France and Australia.
