A fine silkscreen print by the artist Matthew Hilton (b.1948), entitled 'Dora'. Produced in conjunction with Gresham Studio, Cambridge, England, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Freud Museum in London in 1996. Numbered 12/100 to the lower left. Signed and dated to the lower right, and inscribed with the title to the lower centre. Presented in an off-white card mount. On paper.Condition
In fine condition overall. Some very minor marks to the mount.

Artist Biography
Matthew Hilton was born in London 1948 and is best known as a printmaker. He studied cinematography at Bournemouth College of Art and first exhibited his linocuts in Yorkshire in 1982. He moved to France in 2004. Hilton has works in the Government Art Collection and the British Council Collection. He is son of famous British artist Roger Hilton.
