Mary J. Newill (1860–1947) - Signed Original 1883 Oil. Signed with initials to the lower right and inscribed with location to the reverse. Well presented in a decorative gold frame. Signed and inscribed. On canvas. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and some small spots of surface dirt in areas, but overall the appearance is good. Frame has some minor wear in areas but is generally in good condition. Inspection under UV light shows no signs of restoration.
