A fine layered silk screen print showing figures playing in the rock pools at low tide under a dwindling sun. The artist has signed, dated and numbered (68/75) to the lower edge. On wove.Condition
Minor dirtying to the margins of the wove, In otherwise fine condition.

Artist Biography
Mary Beresford Williams (b.1931) was born in London in 1931.
Mary is listed within the Cornish Artists index, as well as Artprice, and has been a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists (N.S.A.) since at least 1978 according to their records. Mary has also been involved in several book publications including illustrating Hurrah for Hazeldown in 1983 and a portrait of TSW (Television South West) which was a limited edition book of her photographic work circa 1980.
Mary exhibited many times including Royal Albert Museum Exeter (solo 1974), Top Ten (1978), South West Arts Major Award in Fine Art, Newlyn Art Gallery (N.A.G.) in Pont Aven (1977), Mixed Shows, Art Share (1988). She also exhibited in France during the 1970s/80s with the N.S.A.
As well as painting, Mary’s other artistic skills include photography and print making. She uses her photography as part of the process for producing her digital prints in small editions
