Description
A limited-edition print depicting a woman leaning wistfully on a window ledge. Presented glazed in a white double mount and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame with a red inner edge. Numbered 191/195 in graphite to the lower-left edge and signed in graphite to the lower-right edge. There is a signed certificate of authenticity on the verso that includes the date, title, and further details. On wove.Condition
There are some slight scuffs to the frame but overall in fine condition.

Artist Biography
Mark Spain (b.1962) is a contemporary artist. He trained in technical graphics at Medway College of Art before setting up a printmaking studio in Kent where he produced original etchings. In October 1987 he was commissioned to produce limited edition etchings of Kew Gardens and has since undertaken many other commissions, with clients including National Westminster Bank and the Dorchester Hotel. Spain has exhibited at numerous exhibitions and one-man shows including the Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Show, the 20th Century British Art Fair, and The Barbican Contemporary Print Fair.
