A charcoal and chalk drawing en grisaille depicting a hawking scene after Philips Wouwerman (1619-1668). A man looks up at the sky from beside his horse while a boy holds onto the collar of a hound. Presented in a white mount and a 19th century silver gilt frame with crown glazing. The pair of this work, also available at Sulis Fine Art, is inscribed with the name of the artist and date on the verso. On wove.Condition
There is some slight discolouration. There are scuffs, chips, and losses to the frame. Overall well-presented and in good condition.
