A delicate graphite drawing with gouache highlights by the late 19th Century artist Margaret Forde Hancock. The artist has used a delicate balance of both mediums with rapid mark-making contrasted with fine detailing to create an interesting composition. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, very minor foxing and a some substrate loss in the lower left hand corner.

23.6 x 21.9cm (9.3" x 8.6")
Sheet: 28 x 25.6cm (11" x 10.1")
