Artist Biography
Margaret Levinson trained at the Bournemouth School of Art where she specialised in sculpture. Lenison was passionate about etching and produced many prints throughout her long career. Many of her compositions feature Venice, a city both she and her husband loved. Levinson founded a gallery in Venice, which sold her work for many years. Margaret exhibited at a number of galleries in the UK and abroad, and was a member of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors & Printmakers (AMNS). She died in September 2018.
