A captivating watercolour painting by French artist ;Marcel Blairat. The scene depicts a Middle Eastern landscape with five figures and a camel. Inscriptions to the reverse read: 'Marcel Blairat, Debut au Salon 1877, Paris Expositions 1894'. Signed to the lower right-hand corner. Presented in a washline card mount and in a gilt effect frame. On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, light foxing and minor surface marks. Some marks and surface dirt to the mount. Scuffing and moulding losses to the frame.
