A fine and captivating oil painting in the manner of Anglo-French painter Paul Lucien Maze. The scene depicts a street view with figures and a horse carriage. Unsigned. There is a label on the reverse inscribed with an attribution to Paul Maze, as well as a biography, however, we believe this painting is only in the manner of the artist. Well-presented in a distressed, pale blue-green wooden frame. On canvas board.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, otherwise in good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Small scuffs to the frame.
