The artist has over laid the visible rings of the original piece of wood, with their fluid, lyrical cuts, creating a magical and ethereal scene. The artist has initialed to the lower right corner and the wood cut has been presented in a large, contemporary frame with card mount. The artist has signed, numbered (19/150) and inscribed with a line from a Kathleen Raine poem beneath the mount:
