A fine pastel painting by the artist Lynn Golden. The scene depicts an interior setting with several flower vases and a fruit bowl on a table top. The artist has beautifully captured a vibrant interior environment, full of life and character, through a colour palette rich in red tones and a clear proficiency in the medium. Well-presented in a white card mount and in a distressed gilt effect frame. Signed. On wove.

Condition

This is an unfixed pastel painting, therefore, in a work with this amount of colour and depth of chalk, some has migrated to the mount. Otherwise, in very good condition. Minor scuffs to the frame.

Artist Biography

Lynn Golden is an artist best known for her pastels. Golden trained at St. Albans School of Art before moving to Cornwall to paint in 1977. She has exhibited throughout the U.K, Europe and The Caribbean. Golden won " le Grand Prix" in a French Salon, and has been an expert for Daler Rowley.
