Description
An album containing drawings by members of the Cust family from Leasowe Castle, Moreton. The album belonged to Louisa Mary Ann Cust and was gifted to her by her sister and brother in February 1844 (inscription to the front cover). Three of the drawings are signed by Georgina Cust, and other pages are inscribed with the names of other Cust family members. The album contains 4 pen and ink figurate drawings; 2 landscape studies in watercolour with a view from Leasowe Castle; a watercolour of religious figures' a watercolour of a horse and two old photographs. Album measures 26 x 12 cm. Signed.Condition
Most of the drawings are loose and most of the pages are empty. General discolouration and some foxing.
