Linda Crane - Original 1957 Mixed Media. Extraordinarily thick paint - this canvas is very heavy simply due to the sheer weight of the paint. It has flaked off in places, which is probably intentional, as the canvas cannot support all of the paint. There is actually a hole in the canvas, once again, for the same reason. All part of the same concept. Signed on the reverse. Dated 57. On unstretched canvas.

Direct from the Linda Crane Studio Sale. Linda Crane is a West Country UK artist who spends half of her time at her house in India. Contemporary. Almost all of the work is signed or monogrammed, but all of it is direct from her studio and is undoubtedly by her hand.
