This series of small sketches on one page depicts a female nude captured in various intimate poses. The delicate drawings portray everyday moments of dressing and washing, including a particularly lovely study of the figure being warmed by a fire. All works demonstrate subtle and refined draughtsman ship. Unsigned. On paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Small pin holes and a deckled edge to the right hand side.

Collection Information
Leslie Charles Boyce was a British painter about which little is known. He appears to have favoured oil as a medium, capturing his diverse subjects with a particular lightness of feeling, achieved with gentle brushwork and a soft palette.
His work includes both still life and landscape views, with a penchant for florals. Also in the collection is several figurative ink sketches and small colourful designs.
