Description

An excellent example of a photorealistic still life by 20th century artist Laurence Leven. This study depicts cut roses, wilting in a delicate china jug. The oil has been signed and dated to the lower left. Beautiful presented in a heavily ornate contemporary frame with swirling acanthus mouldings. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

In fine condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.
