Description
A quintessentially British scene in watercolour, showing two men resting briefly in as lane running down towards a Church. This harming painting has some very fine detail on the church tower, contrasted by lovely gestural trees and grass in the mid and foreground. The painting is unsigned.
The painting has been presented in a glazed, ridged, dark wood frame and an off white mount.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame is in fine condition with a few surface scuffs. The mount is heavily discoloured.
