Description

A picturesque lock scene on the River Dove, the principal river of the southwestern Peak District. Presented in a cream and lilac wash line double mount and a wooden frame with a gilt-effect inner edge. Unsigned. Title inscribed verso. On watercolour paper.

Condition

There is some minor foxing and discolouration. There are some scuffs at the edges of the frame. Overall well-presented and in good condition.
