This scene sets place on the land of a small farm in late summer. In the foreground an angler casts his line into the river running between the small farm house and the wheat field. A mother and child sit on the field's verge watching the angler from afar. Unsigned. Presented in a gilt frame with a cross and leaf running pattern and foliate mouldings to the corners. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Some light scuffing to the frame.
