A wonderful example of a French Rococo style frame with high relief foliate mouldings, featuring scrolling acanthus and c-scrolling. The frame has excellent form and proportion with an aged gilt finish.

Various moulding losses visible on all sides of the frame. Each rail has areas of stable cracking and repair.
