Description

A charming pen and ink drawing of a family on an expedition with their donkey. There is a real sense of family as two children chat together, the mother gives a piggy back to the youngest and another child walks close to their father. The drawing is presented a smart, brown, oval card mount and a thin, reeded, gilt effect frame. Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has some rubbing to the gilt revealing the gesso underneath.
