A fine 19th Century pastel portrait, showing a pretty, smiling young woman, proudly holding a tiny white kitten. The subject and soft rendering of the portrait, give this piece a tenderness and delicacy. The drawing is unsigned and presented in its original gilt slip. On paper.

Condition

The portrait is in fine condition. The frame has some tarnishing and scuffing to the surface.
