A fine 19th Century portrait of a Turkish man pouring tea from a traditional teapot called a "çaydanlık." The painting is unsigned and presented in an early 20th Century gilt frame. On canvas board.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and darkening to the paint. There is an area of wear to the paint at the sleeve of the man. The frame has some scuffing and minor chips..
