Description

A rustic scene in oil showing a red roofed ht, sheltering varying sizes of carts. The hut sits at the edge of a dark wood with chickens grazing freely outside it. The painting is unsigned, on canvas. The original canvas has been relined and re stretched. On canvas.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and dirtying to the surface. There is some wear to the paint at the outer edges of the original canvas and a stretchers line visible at the upper and lower edges.
