A fine turn-of-the-century landscape in the mountains with a waterfall in the foreground. A further waterfall and a mountain peak can be seen in the distance. Presented in a substantial and ornate gilt frame with lambs tongue and leaf and berry moulding to the outer edges, a fluted cove, rais-de-coeur moulding to the inner edge, and a gilt slip. Unsigned. Condition
There is some minor surface dirt to the painting but overall it is in fine condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. There is some mild dirt and tarnishing to the frame and some small areas of restoration to losses of moulding. Overall the frame is stable and in very good condition,
