The painting has discolouration to the varnish, chipping and wear to the paint at the outer edges of the panel. There is craquelure across the surface. There are some deep scratches to the paint in the upper left quadrant and the panel itself has been broken in half and repaired down the middle. Whilst the repair is good, it lacks refinement in its finish.
