A charming traditional Japanese woodblock showing a geisha and two male figures resting on piles of pillows and blankets. An accomplished print with crisp lines and plenty of character in the figures faces, this piece gives an excellent picture of traditional Japanese garb of the 1800s. The print has been presented in an off white card mount and a gilt, bamboo effect frame. Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The print has a crease down the centre. The frame is in fine condition.
